I also use the Pomodoro method - especially helpful when combined with accountability Zoom calls with my writing besties.

I’m so, so glad to see that photo of you at that conference, Rachel. Having support and agency in your healing process truly makes a huge difference.

Yes, I love the combination of sprinting and Zoom calls—it makes the work so much more fun!

And thank you so much! I’m extremely thankful for all the support I’ve had along the way. I feel very, very fortunate. <3

I’ve heard so many sing the praises of Deep Work and I still haven’t read it! Maybe this is my sign!

I understand why you can’t include us internationally. I paid double the cost of the book I ordered in postage a couple of months ago.

I’m so happy that you are recovering from your injury. As someone with a vestibular disease (Ménière’s) I understand the struggle.

We’re just entering my 2 favourite seasons and I can recharge/get my focus back by watching the season for a few minutes with a cuppa. It really centres me xx

Thank you so much, Corinne! I’m so sorry to hear of your struggle with vestibular disease—it is so tough, and I’m sending you a ton of love.

I totally agree, I too feel very centered as the fall moves in. Wishing you a wonderful autumn season!

I like what you wrote here about how thinking about work feels a lot like actual work. I have said this so many times to people who I have sat around with and talked about the things I want to do. It feels like doing something just to talk about it. At least, that's true for me.

You gave me some great ideas on planning and making myself accountable for focus hours. Thank you!
